In December, the Wonder Valley board of directors overwhelmingly approved a campaign to Pay Loans and Add New Space (PLANS). The goal is for the camp to be debt free within three years, as well as secure funds to purchase 40 acres adjacent to the land currently owned by the camp. The land is owned by Cliff and Debbie Keltner who have agreed to a price of $125,000. Funds will be raised in two ways: Wonder Valley is asking for donations to equal the amount needed to purchase the land, as well as securing pledges to pay off the existing debt of $225,000 over a three year period. These two goals must be met by May 31, 2008 in order for the land to be purchased. The basic principle of the campaign is based on the story of the call of Gideon in Judges. The P.L.A.N.S. campaign will serve as a fleece to determine if Wonder Valley should proceed with the purchase of the land. If either goal is not met, the land will not be purchased. The primary focus of the P.L.A.N.S. campaign is to acquire additional space for ministry growth and eliminate debt. Wonder Valley Christian Camp wants to be poised for God’s future plans.
PLANS UPDATE: We have exceeded our goals! We have been blessed and will be moving forward with the purchase of the land and debt reduction. We will post more details here soon, and a newsletter will also be mailed. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

Propane Turkey Fryer
Combination shop vac/leaf blower
12 to 16 foot utility trailer
Push Mower
Donations for stacking chairs (for the dining hall)
Volunteers to help with projects around the camp
Pioneer items to be used and also for decoration at the Pioneer Camp site.
- Wagon wheels, washtubs, washboards, crosscut saw, corn sheller, grain grinder, cast iron cookware, rope maker, wooden barrels, and any other pioneer items.
