2024 WOMEN'S WEEKEND RETREAT

New this year: 2 NIGHTS!

Each fall, Wonder Valley Christian Camp hosts a retreat just for women. This event features inspirational speakers, music, fellowship, great food, exciting activities, workshops and crafts.

 

Fall is beautiful in The Valley and this is a great chance to bring some of your friends, relax, and re-charge your batteries.

Check-In: Oct. 18, 5:30 p.m.

Check-out: Oct. 20, 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $80 - Entire weekend

Activities

Play board games or cards and meet new friends. Renew old acquaintances, do a craft, experience the Zip Line, High Ropes Course, shooting range or just enjoy a time to relax and renew.

Wagon Ride, Cave, Archery and Campfire

Catch a wagon ride to the Wonder Valley Cave and a short tour of the Pioneer Camp. Or try your hand at archery or tomahawk throwing. If you're not up to that much activity, there will be other low-key options at the main camp. After dinner on Friday night, we'll head up to Macedonia for worship in the great outdoors.

 

What to Bring:

  • Casual Clothes

  • Comfortable shoes
    (lace-up, close-toed for activities and walking)

  • Sheets, Blanket/Sleeping Bag & Pillow

  • Toiletries, Towel & Washcloth

  • Flashlight

  • Camp Chair for time around the campfire

  • Bible, Pen & Notebook

  • Games and Cards for Friday Night

FRIDAY

5-5:30 – Arrive/Check-In, Move in to dorms

5:30 - Choose Your Own Adventure #1:

  • Wonder Valley Café Open for Coffee & Conversations

  • Arts & Crafts in the basement

  • Archery/Tomahawk throwing in the Meadow                                

6:30 – Dinner 

7:30 – Campfire Worship + Prayer Requests  (Cookies and Hot Chocolate)

8:30-? Free Time/Games in the Dining Hall

 

SATURDAY

7:30 – Self-serve Coffee for Early Risers

8:30 – Breakfast Buffet 

9:30 – Missions and Morning Devotions 

10:30 – Choose Your Own Adventure #2

  • Zipline

  • High Ropes

  • Gun Range

  • Crafts

  • Food Workshop

  • Other Skills Workshop?

12:00 – Lunch 

1:00 – Free Time / Wonder Valley Café Open

(Take a nap, read, spend time with God, drink coffee and chat, play corn hole, Kan Jam, or pickle ball.)

2:30 – GO: Hike or Wagon Ride to the Cave or  STAY: Arts & Crafts in Basement

4:00 – Choose Your Own Adventure #3

  • Zipline

  • High Ropes

  • Gun Range

  • Food Workshop

  • Go to the Valley (explore the creek/play mini golf)

5:30 – Supper

6:30 – Evening Worship Session (Music + Speaker in Ark)

7:45 – Campfire + Prayer (Hot Chocolate and Marshuterie Board S’mores)

8:30 – Movie or BINGO

 

SUNDAY

7:30 – Self-serve Coffee and Doughnuts for Early Risers

9:00 –10:00 Brunch Buffet Served

10-10:30 – Pack up

10:30 – Morning Worship Session (Music + Speaker in Ark)

11:30 – Prayer and Dismiss
